To address issues such as uneven product quality and widespread false advertising, the China Consumer Product Quality and Safety Association, in collaboration with several leading companies, has released the "Group Standard for Full-Enclosed Floor Mats." This standard, for the first time, clearly defines the definition of "full-enclosed," material labeling, flame retardancy, mounting methods, and environmental performance indicators.

The standard explicitly requires: products must provide original vehicle compatibility data and must not be misrepresented as "universal" models; leather content must be clearly stated, and the misrepresentation of "imitation leather" as "genuine leather" is prohibited; and a new test item, "Safety Distance in the Throttle Area," has been added to prevent the risk of sticking.

Industry experts cite this standard as filling a gap in the industry, effectively curbing the prevalence of "low-price, low-quality" products and protecting consumer rights. It is expected that starting in 2026, products that meet the standard will receive the "CQC Certified" mark, becoming a crucial consideration when purchasing.
